Fall Fashion

It's been 4 months since I've posted. Boo! This has seriously been one of the busiest and fun summers I've had since my last year of college. Anyway, I'm hoping to post more now that this busy season has past.

What's up next? My excitement for fall, or should I say fall clothing. I love dressing for fall. Yes, I am in sunny San Diego, but it still gets chilly at night and b/c of the overpowering AC at work! I love love love layering! Sometimes it makes me feel a little bulky, being that I'm no stick or anything, but I try to compensate with thin layering. Speaking of which, I was close to buying this cute merino wool sweater from BR that was way over priced, but luckily I found a similar style at Lohemann's for cheaper and it was a cotton/rayon blend.

This fall I'm actually on a budget since this summer has drained my assets a bit much. Though I bought some nice items at the Nordstrom's Anniversary sale, I'm still in need of a few items:

Military Jacket

I am liking these short in front, long in back ones. Or I want a cropped one. Throw it on with a long tshirt, some skinny jeans or shorts+ tights, booties or my cuffed flats and that's my go-to casual outfit of the season.

Khaki silk cuffed long-sleeve shirt/dress

I know, it may seem a bit plain, but maybe that's just the older side of me. It just seems like a classic look for the fall, a little bit safari-like. Dressed up w/ some dangly gold/copper accessories. Dressed down with shorts. I found a dress that I liked but the style was quite shapelyand they didn't have a size up! I think for this fall, conservative is in. Very sad, I will have to continue my quest.. on a budget of course...

There are others, but I am getting sleepy, so hopefully I'll have a chance soon to revisit this subject soon! Before the season ends!
